There is a subtle, but important difference between the the two terms staging and styling. Depending on whether you’re going to stay in your current home (or are just moving into a new one) and want to love your home or if you’re ready to move on and sell or leave your home, determines the type of service you’re looking for.
Decorating your home to reflect your own needs, style and personality is what I call styling.
Decorating your home for the majority of potential buyers to be attracted to your home, is what’s called staging.
